Seasons Change

Spring into Summer

Summer to Fall

Fall into Winter

Winter into Spring

Different Seasons?

Same Seasons?

They happen every year

Cycling ever clear

Seasons are like rivers

The Water looks the same

We never touch the same water more than once

Healing Things

Heal your mother wound

Be bold, blossom and bloom

Get over your own scorn

Transcend and mourn

Revive and be more

Heal your father scars

So they don’t become prison bars

It’s easy to blame

But much more fulfilling to aim

For a better version

Of what you should actually believe

The life you are entitled to live

Dia de Los Muertos

The first breath of a newborn

is relief in the ears of a father

to a mother, a new life form

counting all fingers and toes

each hair, follicle, skin fold

immersed in the scent

of a new baby born

the last breath yet to mourn

knowing life is a cycle

to appreciate life

death must be life’s norm

one breath exhaled death

in a breath, inhaled life

because death is part of life

That thing called Love

In the morning’s dew

or the evening’s breeze

in that crooked smile

or that beam of sunlight

in the midnight hour

romantic howl

or the bird that sings

lullaby love brings

in the essence of every crevice

not one thing unturned

because love, is a permeable thing

Random Allegations

Into the night, I cried

the tears the lie

the fear, the pride

the scorn so norm

the smell or spell

the words took forms

unoccupied wombs

Mother Earth blooms

chaotic muse

subtle abuse

mirrored reflections

turned perceptions

confused allegations

cathartic expressions

all in a night’s work

all in a day’s work

from dusk until dawn

dawn until dusk

Beyond Words

Photo by Rakicevic Nenad on Pexels.com

vagabond of words

homeless verbs

flowing through my nouns

enunciating sounds

temporary emotions

memories in motion

whispers in the night

perhaps seeping into daylight

letters are my canvas

birth and death, my inspiration

love and loss, my intervention

life oxygenation

multicolored stations

interpretations, proclamations, improvisations

innovations, art in words

Coping Mechanisms

Forgive and Forget

Remember and Move On

Forgive, don’t Forget

Bitter Taste

Sour Memories

Erased Felonies

Scorned Remedies

Coping Modes

Scoping Words

Consequently Choice is Yours

You get what you are dealt

You give what you deal

Reflections and Images

In the reflection of lust, you may need fixed

In the image of love, you are a work in progress

In the reflection of lust, you may be disposable

In the image of love, you are irreplaceable

In the image of lust, you may be broken

In the reflection of love, you are complete

In the reflection of lust, you may take a number

In the image of love, you are the one

In the reflection of lust, there may be possessions

In the image of love, there is always progression

In the images and reflections of lust and love

What you choose to see yourself through matters
