wasted adorn

Caress that remodels
Embrace that rebottles
One must be mindful
The power of connection
Mirage or Fulfilled embrace
When the weather is dry
We want rain
When the rain comes
We want dry land
When the snow forms
We want sunlight
When the sun heats up
We want cooler weather
When our hair curls
We want straight strands
When is a guaranteed change
Nothing is ever the same
The pause to be thankful and be
Becomes the only constant
Until When
Three steps forward
two steps back
a child is birthed
only to mourn
the unfairness of life
grief’s warranty
Four steps forward
three steps back
loss is a given
trial and error
trial and loss
loss after loss
three steps forward
two steps back
wounded and jaded
weakness has faded
only to be seen at times
in the sea saw called life
the timing is never quite right
never quite ready
yet somehow, eventually
we strive to arrive
stepping forward and back
In my darkest days
I learned to see
To dance at its core
Recreational store
Selling goods and deeds
For any ailing hunger that feeds
For in my darkest days
there was no light
But I learned to see
In the most somber moments
In the abysmal torments
Prayers were the string
Cruelty emptiness brings
A tear was shed
A sight was fed
Beyond hopes and dreams
All the beautiful things
Because prayers, wishes, and hopes
Can only take you so far
Nothing is ever perfect
Nothing is ever easy
But if you manifest and do
Figure out what works for you
The effort worth the work
Because prayers are only the string
Your work abundance shall bring
When you get into a prosperous routine

Scorn, Envy, Excess, Anger, Resentment, Frustration,
Inability, Under Qualified, Not Good Enough
Illness
Consumed
Love, Encouragement, Mindfulness, Happiness, Forgiveness, Patience
Capability, Confidence, Good Enough
Wellness
Breath In
Fear, Complaining, Blaming, Shaming, Projecting,
Sufucated
Exhaled
Relief
Inhaled
Courage, Analysing, Accountability, Self Discovery, Self Understanding,
The Air We Breath
The Food We Consume
Internal War or Peace
In one hour
a mother gives birth
someone takes their last breath
someone graduates
while someone’s failure permeates
One person sleeps
while another awakes
another human diagnosis
ill fitted prognosis
twisting the economies
plagues of humanities
sickness in the soul
health in another
healed and birthed
more than once in many forms
and we call this life
perhaps our long strayed wives
while another falls in love
and turns winters into spring
intoxicating summer breeze
the birds sing
the tides come and go
the waters of one side
can be the droughts of another
do not dispair, we all cycle
because life is forever changing
we are never really stagnant
life is forever turning tables
in all its whimsical forms
that discriminates not one
