Judge a Book by It’s Content

Dandelions in the fields

Weeds that help to heal

Some pull and pluck and kill

The plant is a weed

Something too ill

Not knowing the speed

To cure, mend, and feed

Don’t judge a book by it’s cover

Judge a book by it’s content

Everything has a purpose and grace

Even in the most forsaken place

The weed thrives, cures, and blooms

History’s Baggage Turned Into Blessings

If your hands are full of hate

You can’t receive peace

If your heart is full of bitterness

You have no room for love

If your mind is full of fear

You can’t think of paths as clear

If you hang on to history’s baggage

You can’t fly into promised lands

Sometimes loosing is not a loss

If you are opening and making room

For what is yet to come

Life Happens do Life Anyway

Winter to Spring

Spring to Summer

Summer to Fall

Fall to Spring

Clockwise, Counterclockwise

Seeds Bloom

Seasons Change

Time Flies

Nothing Changes

Everything Changes

Tragedy~Triumph

Death~Birth

Mourn~Celebrate

Life Happens

Ready or Not

Regardless

Do Life Anyway and Regardless

Let Them Talk

If you do, someone talks

Photo by Eduardo Alemu00e1n on Pexels.com

if you don’t, someone talks

if you do, someone talks

if you sit, someone talks

if you stand, someone talks

if you are silent, someone talks

if you speak up, someone talks

if you hide, someone talks

if you take up space, someone talks

if you dull, someone talks

if you shine, someone talks

Don’t sit, stay silent, hide, or dull yourself, someone talks

Do stand, speak up, take up space, shine, let them talk

No permission required, unapologetically

Endings are Beginnings

Photo by Joy Marino on Pexels.com

Death is imminent

but so is birth

failure is part of life

success often follows failure

everything comes to a close

and other doors open

what goes up, must come down

but what goes down, must come up

beginnings have an ending

and endings are beginnings

the ashes that were left in the forest

are fertility for trees to grow

mourn the end, if you must

rise from the fire and begin

that’s life

If You Only Knew

If you only knew how brave you are

Photo by Leandro Barbosa on Pexels.com

you would not bow your head to slander

you would not make pain your normal

you would not silence for comfort

you would not put yourself last

If you only knew how capable you are

you would take on that job

sing that song or dance

you would ask that question

without fear of the answer

If you only knew how much room there is

you would take up space

wish everyone well

you would be abundant and give

you would overflow

but you must know yourself

to know how brave and capable you are

to step into any room and shine

Celebrate Anyway

Photo by Polina Kovaleva on Pexels.com

when someone is happy

some are happy for them, some are not

some mean well, some are just mean

some congratulate, some discriminate

some wish you the best, some wish at best

when someone is happy, the ones who are sincere

will be happy and cheer

some will pretend, then just wait for you to clear

your job is not to change people, or yourself

your job is to learn the difference

in some

celebrate anyway
