If The Blind Could See

In the Power of Greed

There is none to be freed

For in this nonsense violence

we may not live in silence

I have not glass full nor half empty

nor do I own glassess a plenty

I simply exist

and am one to persist

That my brother, sister, mother daughter

my neighbor, have courage said father

I see no color, nor flag, religion nor swag

perseption, asumption, corotion as plague

When our Egos keep score

Love and acceptance exist no more

As the last breath is taken

true justice forsaken

My mantra is this

that I side not to countries or creeds

not to colors or creeps

but to the human spirit

that carries a lyric

bold and loud, transient, never shallow

the human need that forbodes any sorrow

to be seen, loved, accepted

not in scared forms rejected

But understood, valued, respected

For every Beating heart

has a beat and a drum

that whispers in the winds of the atmosphere

I am here

The blood in the veins

that flows through and reigns

has not color nor creed, no religion when freed

It simply beats, like my brothers, my sisters, my neighbors

my mothers, my fathers

For Love, Life simply is

In the power of Greed

There is none to be freed

In the Power of Love

The Blind Can See

Note To Self

self confidence

Amongst confusing trivia

swim through massive media

run past valleys and notions

Diminishing callous word poisons

The matrix of life

Is the Hater’s Snitch Wife

It is married to misery

and rejoices in trickery

Than one day you wake

and all the molds break

In the Matrix of Sadness

No longer lives Darkness

Not on my time

not on my rhyme

not on my life

not on my side

I don’t control what is given

I control what is written

In the lines that I Thrive and encourage

Hate and Shame will not flourish

Upon the occasional stumble

and when I choose instead mumble

Rest assured I will not take rest there

I have come to find out

with both feet upon this ground

There is no better realization

and requires no condemnation

than to tell you my friend

The Matrix

is Dead

If you so choose to see it

that way

What the mind can conceive

it can definitely achieve

Note to thy self

on the days of a dark Matrix

for dark cannot drive out darkness

only light can do that

Some phrases taken from the amazing Napoleon Hill and the Inspiring Martin Luther King Jr.

Believe Gift Yourself

I searched in the water

in the valleys and mountains

in the sister and brother

in the churches and fountains

I searched through the winds

in the walls and the trees

in the letters and tins

in the rivers and creeks

I dug through the dirt

and heard it in wishers

tried to catch a last squirt

of encouraging whispers

than I traveled and looked

through the crevices spaces

although they all proved it

still, I could not see faces

In the places, faces, mazes, spaces

I finally stopped

took a deep breath

looked up to the sky

and let go, in stillness

I finally found, what was there all along

the confidence to say

In Me

the best oufit a woman or man can wear

Rock it and Own it

Pass it On
